Day Two

Yesterday was the first full day that our class went to the elementary school. We stayed for an hour and about 15 minutes it was fun. I used the copy machine and I attempted to put together a stereo system but it completely failed. None the less it was fun and I felt just like a teacher. (:

Day One

My first day at Westwood Elementary was amazing. Though we only got to stay for about 30 minutes and it only felt like 10 it was fun and the students in my 3rd grade music class immediately clicked with me and they loved me. The teacher I'm working with is absolutely amazing. I've known her just about all my life. She is the a co-director with the Spring Branch Boys Choir and both of my older brothers were in that choir from 3rd to 8th grade. I also worked with her in a musical for Memorial High School. She introduced me to the kids and told them that I was going to be working with them this year. The kids were so excited! They also remembered my older brother that worked at the elementary school as an assistant music teacher and they were amazed! We sang and danced the whole time. Over all it was so much fun and I couldn't wait to go back and work with the kids!(:
